NORESPRO is short for No Reservations Productions. I am Jonathan Sims. Creator. I tell stories through video, sound, word and picture. My team works best in the areas of documentary, promotional and educational media.
Our Mission
First and foremost, we create affordable, useful and iconic media for clients big and small. We understand diversity and what it is to give voice to those under-represented. The work in our own backyards include some of the most remote and private communities in the world. Allow us to work alongside you in crafting your story.
Photography has moved from a side job to the forefront of our business requests. From documentation of events to headshots, corporate headshots, and senior photos ask and we can do! Red carpet style step and repeat coverage! We have worked small intimate group outings and major thousand attendee national conferences.

Additional Services
One of my greatest assets is how varied a career I have had thus far. Creating media has allowed me learn so much about people, places and things. I have in a 2nd life been a public official. I was appointed Tribal Secretary for the Pueblo of Acoma for the years of 2015 and 2016. Best way to describe the role is like a pseudo-Chief of Staff. The Secretary’s office is the door of administration, we manage all incoming inquiries and requests. The office also helps manage the administrations calendar. I managed all Council meetings, fielded all tribal inquiries and provided information to the public. I managed a set of employees, programs, boards and budgets. Our office handled national and international dignitary visits. Managed all film and tv permitting for the Pueblo. As well as hosted and worked alongside many location scouts for major film and television companies.
Sound recordist
My first professional job in the industry during college and after has been as a location sound mixer and recordist. I cut my teeth on PBS garden shows and later entered the freelance world as a sound recordist for on location EPK (electronic press kit) features for film and tv. Including WILD HOGS, HAMLET 2, ESPN and more!
SOCIAL MEDIA retainers
Do you need content? Help with managing a social media site? I have experience creating content specific for social media. The approach here can be much less involved compared to larger video productions. Ask about our retainer agreements with clients for repeated content development at a reasonable price! Weekly high end video! Promote your product, event or business!
Editor
I will also take on EDITING ONLY projects. Do you have a mountain of footage and no idea how to pull a story out of it? Editing is an art. I’ve been FCP certified in previous versions. Currently working in FCP, PREMIER and AVID engines. I once learned AVID overnight to land a job!
SCREENWRITER
I always dreamt of writing a movie. I wanted to do it right, so I entered the MFA Creative Writing program at the Institute of American Indian Art. I penned two features. My Master’s thesis was: Using Oral History Narratives as The Basis of Screenplay Development. I am well versed in how to tell a story and can help take you from idea to script in no time!
